The first International meeting of the year,a very early start to get there in time to park on Juniper hill in a mans front garden and get that close to the racing that I can reach out and touch the racers.The Northwest has become a two day affair with racing on the Thursday and Saturday,lets suffice to say Thursday was great and Saturday a washout,this is the second year of three I have sat in the car in the pissing rain for a full day only to be told the racing was cancelled,nobody,s fault but frustrating none the less next year they will be able to move days around like the TT but there will never be racing in the North on a Sunday and no harm it would cause too much hardship for the people in the area. As a race the Northwest is a great spectacle and on the coast it is incredibly beautiful place to watch the madness that is realroad racing,,,,,,,,
