WoW !

What a great start to the Roadracing season with Richie doing Sligo proud and taking The Superbike B race win on the Honda 1000,in what is only his third roadrace on the big Honda and after a troublesome qualifing on Friday due to lack of grip from the rear slick all came good on raceday.Starting from the front of the second group Richie took the lead in his group entering Gortin corner on the first lap and with a clear road ahead he got his head down to try and catch the first group and was soon in second place on corrected time and with the leader running off track the way was left open for Richie to take the win, It was not a race without its hairy moments with Richie taking to the footpaths in places after running out of road ,Benny and myself and the rest of his supporters were on tenderhooks until he got the chequered flag and what a great start to a super days racing, Richie also took a 4th in the Supersport B on a R6 Yamahe that was clearly down on power compared to its rivals and in the last race of the day another Superbike B race he got a 6th place. It was some day out !!! And once again Trixey was on duty to handle all pit crew duties helped or hampered by Tom and Duffy ?

Hi Ed,

Great photos of Ritchie and Trixey at the Cookstown 100.

I run Richie's website http://richardmcloughlinroadracing.com/ and would love to put the photos up there if I may.

Could you please email me at info@richardmcloughlinroadracing.com if you are willing to let me do this.
