great racer ed, one of my favourites from that time, i was there when he was killed at silverstone during the british gp, it was a bloody disgrace and should have been cancelled straight away, i remember vernon cooper was the acu top honcho at the time and they were worried about losing viewers because it was going out live on the bbc at the time,shocking.
Tim the point about the tv coverage is spot on and its starting to take control of the timing at the larger roadraces over here also,it will soon be all about the money here also..
