ducati tune up
got the petrol taps from Bevel Heaven in the USA ,fitted to the older tank of the pantah and cleaned a bucket load of crap out of the carbs,filled it with juice and fired it up.It runs well up the revs and in mid range but needs choke to start even when warm which makes me think maybe its too lean low down also it has K & N air filters which might be giving too much air ?But man does she fly when rolling and going up through the gears this is my trackday tool ,,,

Black Monday
as a real road races fan when there is a fatality it is shocking and sad but for some selfish reason i can put it at the back of my mind and convince myself that the racers make the choice and would not have it any other way and the show must go on ,but when i opened the computer this evening and read about the death of young Wayne Hamilton who died today in the junior race at the Manx only two days previously had won the newcomers race this death of a twenty year old young man is too sad and shocking and sickening,RIP young Wayne and my thoughts are with your family .I borrowed this pic of Wayne from Baylons site Irishracephotography,

on a lighter note young Wayne Hamilton took a win in the newcomers at the manx grand prix with William Davidson second thats a one two for the Irish lads and one for all the redheads out there ,well done Wayne he was giving Ryan a run for his money at the Ulster,,,
more sad news
Adrian mc Farland died yesterday at a roadrace in the Chech republic ,another sad loss to the sport just when i taught this year was not going to be as bad for fatalities ,I watched what was the only race at this years NW200 with a good friend of his i,m sure all up there will be devastated,lets hope he is the last for this year,,,,RIP ADI..
