This is the superstock BMW of Rafeal Paschaolin a racer at the North West that traveled all the way from Brazil to compete, I watched him ride and he was going really well.So while I was crying about a couple of early starts to watch the racing this guy traveled thousands of miles to race ,he is a real committed racer and he gave me a sticker which has pride of place on the fingymoto staff car,just to mention there were some riders there from other countries also who traveled great distances and well done to all of them ,,,,,,,

Micheal will not have been too happy with his NW200 never getting into a position to challenge for the lead,none the less he rode safe and will be on the boat for the TT next week in good shape there,s always a silver lining !

Sad loss

Very sad news to hear about Mark Buckley dying from his injuries in hospital,a good rider and I have seen him plenty of times at the TT .Roadracing,s ugly side comes out every now and again just to remind us of the extreme risks there riders take,RIP big man.

Here on planet fingy we are Bruce Ansty fans hence the disappointment when the Padgetts bike failed to finish the superstock race this disappointment was compounded be the fact that i had tipped him for the win !!!Tomorrow Bruce will make amends

William was going well but never challenged for a podium in the superstock maybe tomorrow will be kinder ?

On ThE rOaD

up extra early this morning to head to the Northwest for practice ,its going to piss rain all day by the forecasts so have plenty of clothes and tea making facilities ,over a two and a half hour trip up and practice all morning hopefully with a break in the middle of the day and racing in the evening,i might fit a nap in during the break and a walk around the paddock ,,,,,hoping all goes ahead,
