first on saturday bike trip to Bush roadrace i like the big meetings but small ones like Bush can be a lot of fun and keep it real will hit the road early to have a good long day then its home a few pints and sunday morning head with my father to classic bike show and autojumble in mullingar we will take a van so we can buy some shit,,,,,,,,,

TT and World Cup

I am glad the TT is over i find it too stressful and find myself getting too wound up about the results i managed to listed to most of it on manx radio ,was a bad end with two fatalitys and numerous crashes thankfully its only once a year,now its world cup time and i dont care as much about the results although i have money on argentina because Maradona is a nutter oh and well done to hutchy with total domination,

took on of these once as a trade against a 350 tricati that my father owned it was a 250 ducati chassis with a real nice chrome jelly mould tank and the oil tank was in the seat hump and a tight 350 twin triumph engine a real nice bike to drive ,I will scan a pic of it some day and post it ,anyways kept the MZ for a while and sold it foe £150 ,,,,,,,

the pint of guinness which is so important to all of us irish ,first the name i call it stout or porter and the people on the east coast call a pint of plain ,its a great drink and has the effect of making the drinker more tired and docile as opposed to some largers which make you want to rip somebodys head off the important thing with porter is that the pour has two stages firstly two thirds up the glass and when its settled then the last third also always let is settle before you take a mouth full .now as you drink it you should get remnants of the head leaving rings on the glass per mouthful on the way down the glass if the glass is clear on the sides as it emptys then you are in trouble and will have either a sore head or arse in the morning and if you enter the bar check what the patrons are drinking if there is a good run on the porter then go for it .this might seem a bit complicated for the sake of a mere drink but if you get it right its one of lifes great pleasures and if i get a chance i will show you the technique in practice

not ryans biggest fan but had him tipped for the win in the superstock and was dissapointed when he didn,t take the win but he came across very well on the radio and seemed very happy with second so well done Ryan

superbike race

the superbike race was delayed for three and a half hours but boy was it worth the wait i taught surely archie was on for a third and maybe a second but sadly it all went wrong in the last ten miles of the race,well done hutchy with the win and especially well done micheal dunlop with a second and also joining the exclusive 130mph club was glad when the race was over because my stomach was sick with excitment .roll on monday !!

a new bronze Rory Gallagher statue has been unveiled in ballyshannon and there is a Rory festival this weekend there so might take a spin down there this saturday night can sleep under the stars .

funny sunday

sold the montesa trials bike on sunday was kinda sorry to see it go but need the space and before it went it managed to bang my shin with the kickstart should always wear trials boots for kicking .on way back from delivering the montesa i came across two riders broken down and was able to help them with my trailer they have a cupla nice hondas and dont live too far from me .

put the ape hanger bars of the xs on a bmx for my daughter and sprayed it down shes on it all the time now it was in the shed rusting maybe thats been eco friendly ?

TT prediction

I reckon that Archibald could do well at the TT this year especially if there is a wet race and he is fast in practice already there is nothing like experience at the TT,
