a FuNny
An Irishman an Englishman and a Scot were sitting in a bar. The
view was fantastic, the beer excellent, and the food exceptional.
The Scotsman, 'I still prefer the pubs back home.
Why in Glasgow there's a wee bar called McTavish's. Now, the landlord there goes out of his way for the locals so much that when you buy 4 drinks he
will buy the 5th drink for you.'
'Well,' said the Englishman, 'At my village local, the Red Lion, the barman there will buy you your 3rd drink after you buy the first 2.'
'Ahhh, dat's nothin,' said the Irishman. 'Back home in Dublin , there's Ryan's Bar. Now the moment you set foot in the place they'll buy you a drink, then another, and another, and in fact all the drinks you like. Then when you've had enough drinks
they'll take you upstairs and see that you get laid. All on the house!'
The Englishman and Scotsman immediately pour scorn on the Irishman's claims.
But, the Irishman swears every word is true. 'Well,' said the Englishman, 'Did this actually happen to you?'
'Not me me-self, personally, no,' said the Irishman. 'But it did happen to me sister a few times.'

love this pic
As far as I know this was the 1959 TT notorious for the wet weather and the TT my father went too,I have the programme and must check out the numbers.I have tried to post this pic before but it kept faulting this was on the Piston Brew blog so I borrowed it,,,,,
After checking out numbers I have come upwith, D T Powell is number 36 on a Matchless and the unfortunate number 24 is John Ingram on a Norton this is open to correction if there are any TT experts out there !!!

Fingymoto roadrace review 2013 ULSTER GP
The Ulster GP is the greatest roadrace in the world and the 2013 GP left us in no doubt,we went up on the Thursday morning to get practice and the Dundrod 150 unfortunatly the racing on Thursday evening was cancelled due to rain and with the forecast Saturdays racing looked doubtful but the rain blew off in the morning and we had a great days racing.Having accomodation with Slice of Buff for the weekend also added to the enjoyment and a night in Belfast on Friday was great.,

Fingymoto roadrace review 2013 ARMOY
Armoy is a relativly new race on the calender and is run through Joeys home village of Armoy and the clerk of the course is Frank Kennedys brother so it has a pedigree,it has fast become one of the best races on calender and may become a international meeting in time .The village is a great asset to the race with the riders making a sharp left on the main street and some good grandstands for the spectators also there is good access to spectating points from the paddock, this is a race that I highly reccomend and will only get better as the years go by .
Also it is close to Joeys bar a must for all race fans,,

Fingymoto roadrace review 2013 WALDERSTOWN,
After the TT a break is needed before the next trip away granted we fitted in the Enniskillen and Cookstown racing shows but with Bush roadrace cancelled and me not wanting to go to Skerries it was mid July before we got to Walderstown a race set in the very centre of the country and less than two hours trip also it was the first trip to a race for the Fingymoto van which was handy for cooking.Walderstown is a short track like Cookstown but with the great weather it was a good weekends racing sadly marred by the death of 125 rider Bruce Moulds a rising star and a stark reminder of just how crazy this sport is.Its a good race for the craic and the weather is often kind to it but the track is just too short and a bit stop start,,,
