Island fever

The van is packed and full of diesel,this will be my second week spent on the island this year hoping for good safe racing and to see some great bikes,,,,,,no posts for a while !!!

It was too wet for practice this evening and its hard to know how the weather will be for the 500 classic tomorrow,,,

Sacrifices

In order to attend all the Roadrace meetings something has to give along the way and sadly this time the wee TL that served me well had to be sacrificed at the Manx alter,hope its as good for the new owner as it was for me and I got to meet another bike nut !!! its a win win situation,

He is still going well in practice unfortunatly he is only getting one lap per evening with red flags,hopefully they will get more laps before the race,,,looks well here on the mountain

Last time I was at the Manx was around the turn of the century we cycled that year, its me and the van this year and maybe the bicycle too for old times sake ,,,

Spying

Richie should get out in proper practice this evening around seven o clock,I watch using the eyespy webcams I would put up a link but the links never work for me,start with the Glenvine cam then Kirkmicheal cam and lastly the Ramsey cam,also I have Manx radio playing in the background this is as close as we can get to being there,if we switch from webcam to webcam we can follow the riders on their lap,Hopefully all riders get around safely and enjoy the practice,,,,,,,

Richie had his first taste of lapping the mountain circuit this evening, he was keeping tight behind the instructor and would have got a few good lines,we were able to watch him on the eye spy webcams,I am looking forward to seeing getting going proper with his smooth style the circuit should suit him well ,ride safe

I am all packed up for the weekend at the Ulster GP Guy is fastest in practice so the Suzuki is fast around there best of luck to all the Riders and we are still remembering young Lee Vernon,on the weather front I have my doubts its very warm but the rain is relentless we can only hope ,,
