2013 Fingymoto roadrace review TANDRAGEE 100
The second race we attended this year was the Tandragee 100 fast becoming my favourite national race, the circuit is over five miles in length which makes for longer better races.Once again for us it is about a 2 hour journey but with all the chat about the racing ahead time flys generally I take the car or now van to the races as with unpredictable weather and me wanting my comforts as I get older it suits our job better and also provides cooking facilities a must as attending all the races can start to take its toll on the pocket. This year Richie had his first run on the Superbike Fireblade and finished well up in his first race beating some of the established big bike riders in his second big bike race he suffered with gear change problems but still finished well up the field as he did in the 600 race also.
Micheal Dunlop was on fire at Tandragee and walked away with the big bike races. This is a race I would highly recommend seeing and it is possible to do the double with Cookstown and Tandragee only being a week apart, next year I will go to Tandragee on the Friday and get practice as I have the van to sleep in now and need to watch from a few different spots. Also ther is a great Classic parade there with Jim Redmond and Ray mc Cullagh there this year,,,,,,,,,

2013 Fingymoto roadrace review COOKSTOWN 100
First race of the year is the Cookstown 100,about two hours trip for us its is the season opener and while not the best circuit it is quite short at around two miles but it offers a lot of races in all different classes and as the opener it attracts a lot of top riders for a National race,
Luckily enough the April weather has been kind to Cookstown and it makes a good start on the roadrace tan for all us fans with the dreaded rain staying away, our local racer Richie was unable to get a entry with the grids been full which was a disappointment as he rode well there last year,I tried out a new camera which has since been shelved so if some of the pics are not great this is the reason, also I got a T shirt from Slice of buff which was a bonus,,,,,,,,,Cookstown is worth the trip and sets the scene for the roadracing year,,
Gombeen men
I don,t know what is going on in this country but there are wankers advertising bikes for stupid money on sales sites and the other wankers that see them will hike their bikes and what do you know a bike bubble. €11,000 for a Eddie Lawson rep and €5,000 for a tacky yellow 350lc what are these gombeen,s thinking ????

The Micheal sit-ie-ation
Micheal is the best roadracer around at the moment ,everybody is watching for his next move having left the constraints of TT legends. Here is my tuppence ha'penny worth with Hutchy back and maybe Amor we will not be wanting for excitment on the roads at international level and as for the national races it gives the new talent a chance to shine. Having said that Micheal is a Dunlop and if there is races to be raced he will be there it would be nice to see Wilson Craig get a Senior TT win and a nice compact team for MD,,,,roll on Cookstown,,,
