Guy Martin was there on the new coloured TAS Suzuki,s and kicked some Irish butt in the first open race,I was not best pleased but thankfully Ryan put him back in his place for the rest of the races,,,,,

Here at Fingymoto we are big fans of Maria Costello who rode brilliantly at Cookstown and was very unlucky not to get a podium in one of the classic races due to a breakdown,,,,

Cookstown 100

Cookstown was great day out .a full days racing topped by a great result by Richie Mc Loughlin our local racer who on his first visit to the circuit and after a one year out of the game mansged to qualify 18th ,which meant starting in the A race but in the third group starting 20 seconds behind the first group,after a great race he managed to finish in sixth place and catch some of the first group and all this in only six laps exceptional riding,i just wish he got to enter more races and pick up more race time .The other hero has to be the evergreen Davy Morgan who after a big crash one of the races managed to continue racing for the rest of the day ,today he has to be feeling shook.all in all a good days racing we were at the circuit at half nine in the morning and didn,t leave until nearly half seven and did plenty of walking there will be plenty of pics that i took in the paddock and at the track,ROLL ON Tandragee next week !!!!!!

Today is practice for the first road race of the year with some support races this evening time permitting ,I won,t make it up this evening but first thing in the morning the fingymobile will be on the road !The very best of luck to all those racing and fingers crossed for safe races and good weather,its been a long wait since last september,,,,

Huwhuws is a Manx gp racer that campaigns a rotary Norton I first came across him at the Manx in 1999 the sound of his bike is amazing and he can make it shift,I seen a rotary at a road race last year on display in the paddock but cannot remember which race and am surprised i have no picture of it,,,,maybe i will see it again this year,below is a pic of Huwhuws racing and below is a you tube video he posted there are more videos if you click on the you tube links,i was shocked at how low and blinding the sun was i remember seeing warning signs on the road about the sun but never realized just how bad it gets.The power delivery on the rotary is amazing i would love a run on one,,,,,,,,,,,,

Ballybofey show

Just back from the Ballybofey show and autojumble it was a novelty to have a show in just over a hours drive given that its usually a 3 hour trek for us,the show was run by the Donegal motorcycle group and they did a sterling job,also it was my first time selling at a autojumble but with a shed about to burst i didn,t have much choice,them Donegal men are tight to get money out of but that was half the craic and i met some good lads,also brought two Ducati,s to show and they seemed to go down well,The Rickman z900 belonged to a man whose brother my wife bought her bike off in 1987 its a small world the bike world..
