joey time
the words icon and superstar are used to often lately but thie was a man that truly deserved to be called a icon and reluctantly on his part a superstar.I got to see him in the paddock and at races and get his autograph when i was younger and eventually be in the same race as him a couple of times ,always in my head while Joey was alive and racing i felt that i would always be safe riding the bike because as fast as i tried to go i still wasnt going as hard as him and he had survived but sadly when he died i knew then that none of us are invincible. For me there will never be a rider as great and humble as the King of the Roads
